Sofia P.O.V

I woke up in the morning to the ring of my alarm. Turning around glancing at the phone I picked it up and turned off the alarm. I slided on her phone to see a long list of notifications. I smiled clicking on it. All of the messages were on our Chat group. I chuckled reading them. Those were Birthday wishes from my friends. And the First one was -not so shockingly- from Ayaan. Yeah, he always is the first one to wish. just at 12’o clock. And is closely followed by kiara, Nick and Aliza. and ofcourse Ryan forgot like usual sleeping nicely. And he calls me a sleepy head.

She chuckles and replies all messages with thank you’s. Just in time for Ryan to finally Wake up and wish her. And all the other also happen to wake up at the right time. As she taunts Ryan with a sleepy head taunt along with a sweet angel face thankyou. They all chat, taunt and tease each other for awhile and then all of them go to have breakfast or freshen up.

She keeps the phone aside and sits up on her bed side moving away the comforter. She goes to freshen up. After coming from the washroom she puts on a nice pony tail and went down to prepare something for break fast. she walks down the stairs and sees her dad sitting on the sofa with a news paper in his hand. She comes to him and greets him with a kiss on his check.

S: Good morning dad.!

D: Good morning sofi. Happy Birthday to my princess.!!

S: Thankyou.

She smiles and hugs him and then goes to prepare breakfast for both of them. She goes into the kitchen and starts working. Well when your the only lady of the house there's no holiday from home chores. She starts taking out ingredients for her meal when the door bell rings. "Oh great" she thinks as she makes her way towards the door while wondering who it could be at this time of the day. she opens the door as her bestie storm inside entering the house. she looks on as all her friends go by her muttering hi's and hello's as she looks on puzzled at what is going on.

S: Wait. Wait. Wait... what's going on here?

She asks while Looking around questioningly as all of them go to sit on the dining table as both the girls go off into the kitchen. Sofia follows them into the kitchen and sees them getting the plates to the table.

S: kiara...? Aliza...?

K: What...? You didn't think we'd leave you on kitchen duty on your birthday, did you?

S: What...

She asks smiling confusedly. While kiara and Aliza set the table she looks as the boys take out the food from the packs and set the table. In about 5 minutes the table was all ready and breakfast was served in front of her. She smiled looking amazed at her friends.

Ay: Breakfast Ahooo!!

S: really guys. I definitly didn't see that coming.

Ry: If that was a thank you I think you can do better than that?

S: That wasn't, This is: Thankyou everyone for all of this!

K: You know who's plan it was?

S: Nope.

K: Ayaan!

S: Really...?( looking at him) Thank you.

K(whispering to Ryan): They seem to be getting along.

She smirks as he rolls his eyes.

R(To kiara): And there goes everything!

They both also Chuckle as they watch sofia and Ayaan banter on the table. They all have breakfast laughing and talking. Sofia looks at everyone on the table laughing and eating together. She smiles realising how they may have lost all what people call family. But no one could take away what they had between them. These weren’t just friends they were family. For her and for each other. And no one could take them away from each other. No body could ever change this feeling of belonging here and together. She smiled as a tear slipped by and she wiped it off.. Soon she too got involved in all the banter going on when Ayaan made a snark remark as both started arguing again as always.

What she didn’t notice was how the whole time there was someone whose gaze lingered on just her. Who noticed her tear and her happines.. the one who had planned all this. Ayaan... He might still be dealing with all the new fuzzyness but he knew what to do to keep that pretty smile on her beautiful face. He smiled knowing his plan worked perfectly.

They all had breakfast together. Soon after the food was over they all left as there was lot of party business they had to attend.

She bid her friends goodbye and then went inside and sat with her father. It was her special day and she was happy she spent it with the most special people of her life. They talked for some time talking but then he got a call from the office. he went promising to come in the party.

She went and ironed his suit for the party that he would wear. She readied her dress too. She glanced at the clock and got shocked looking at the time.

Sofia P.O.V

My... Time sure flies. I mean it was like just now we had breakfast and Sat talking to dad. Now I do some chores and it's almost evening. The girls will be here any moment. This is another of our birthday traditions. We all get ready together.. All girls at my place and the boys at Ayan and Nicks. we girls helping eachother in makeup. Yeah... The birthday girl is treated almost like a bride. So now they're gonna be doing my makeup. I would help them a little with theirs. but Only if i'm ready by that time.
